Every year it is the same thing, take the decorations down and shove them in a box for next year. What if instead this year, you took steps to making next year’s holiday decorating a lot easier? If you like the way your home is decorated, take pictures so that next year you have your blue print.
First, take a look around your home…are they any decorations that you no longer love? Now that you have all the decorations you love you may sort them by room or by category. Your categories could be, garland & lights, tree decorations, home decor and outdoor decorations. Now you will be ahead of the game for next year and remember, less is more.
If you send out Christmas cards, don’t forget to update your address list for next year.
