I saw this on the news last night and thought I would give it a try, and since it worked, I’m  passing it on to you…just in case you haven’t already done it.

We have Cox Communications as our cable provider, but I have considered changing services a few times. I called them last night and simply asked them what they could offer me to keep me as a customer.

The person on the phone, Adam, was very friendly and helpful.  He told me a few things about the service I was considering changing to…something for me to follow up on with the other guys, and offered me the introductory rate.  Just like that.  I’m now saving $30 a month and have premium channels which I would have never considered paying for. 

When he told me that rate was good for 6 months, I asked him what would happen after that.  He told me to call in 6 months and they would see what they could offer me then.

I will be staying with Cox for now, working towards saving the big bucks…one channel at a time.
