April is a particularly special time to go green because of Earth Day – a celebration of our planet and a reminder of our responsibility to take care of it for future generations. Here’s the scoop from the Tulsa Zoo website with info on their annual Earth Fest . . .THIS SATURDAY!!!
“The Tulsa Zoo’s annual Earth Fest celebration is back and greener than ever. Come celebrate our Party for the Planet and help increase environmental awareness at the Tulsa Zoo, as we host Earth Fest 2009. ‘Green’ vendors will be housed in a special marketplace, in addition to live music, arts and activities. Tulsa Zoo will present an Earth Fest Hero award to a member of our community making a difference.
