I’m going to go ahead and write my blog now for a couple of reasons, the main one being, I should be studying. Yes, I know, how high school of me to blog rather than study…but, come on!

Someone, and I can’t even remember who, lied to me and said, “One of the hardest things about going back to school is getting back in there.” Ummmm…Can I say “Nu uh!” The hardest thing about being back in school, is being back in school, WITH 8 KIDS!

It doesn’t matter how many times I say, “Go ask Daddy, Mommy’s trying to study.” They still need ME to get their drink of water, snack, tissue…whatever. And, God forbid, I say, “Hang on, let me finish this part.”

My step-daughter has been a lifesaver, even explaining my homework to me…Can I just tell you how ignorant that makes me feel…even though she is too smart for her own good? Kiana, my 12 -year-old helps out with the little ones as much as possible, but they can be a handful.

PJ has started speech therapy twice a week, and once a week I go to my grandparents and help them with whatever they need done around the house. I’m still trying to fit my workouts in, and still get the kids to practices and rehearsals.

My husband keeps telling me that something has got to go…and I finally figured out what that is. Sleep. I figure if I just stay awake 23 of the 24 hours out of everyday I should be pretty good. I may not be the nicest person to be around, but it just might work. Now, all I have to do is figure out how to quit dozing off while I’m staring at my computer screen! Any suggestions?
