Hello ladies!

I know I have been on quite the hiatus from my Going Green blogs. . .hopefully you have seen some posts that I made on Eco Goddess’s blog as well as in the Green Living Forum.  I’m still keeping up with my favorite site (duh, 918moms.com!!!), but with the last 31 days (or less – please, God, please!) of this pregnancy I am kind of out of green ideas.  Now I have been keeping up with my recycling.  And my son has gotten potty-trained, so we are no longer contributing to the landfill with his diapers. . .although very shortly I’ll be back to that with the baby.  We have also managed to do some “green grilling” and do our part to support the local farmer’s market.  Other than that, it has been days filled with getting all of my work tied up (or trying to!) in anticipation of my 12 week absence (did I mention during our “busy season” at work. . .oops!); and nights filled with readying the nursery and cherishing the last fleeting minutes of our son being the only child and center of attention!

And, as the temps go higher, and my waistline grows wider, my patience seems to be getting shorter. . .and shorter. . .and shorter!  So when I saw this little cartoon, I couldn’t resist sharing it with all of you.  It is not that we moms are ungrateful for the concern and interest others show us; but seriously if any “regular” person was asked the same few questions over. . .and over. . .and over. . .they’d get annoyed too, right?  Especially if they were supporting the weight of a bowling ball on their bladder, walking around on sausage shaped feet and wearing the same five or six outfits repeatedly (because it is not like you can go out and buy a bunch of new stuff in the 8th month of what your hubby says will be your last pregnancy!!!).

So anyway, here is a little comic relief for myself, Baby on Board and all of you moms out there who during pregnancy found yourself a little less than gracious in the last few days til your little bundle of joy arrived!
