Ladies, I found a super cool blog today and I wanted to share. . .Recycling Lovelies! This is a great blog by an obviously fashionable and earth-conscious chick. She has made a commitment not to buy new clothes for a year — all I can say is WOW! And the goal of her blog is to show readers that #1, it can be done; and #2, you can still look fabulous while recycling clothes into something new. I hope you ladies will check it out and, who knows, you might get an idea or two! At least buzz by and check out her handiwork. . .
Deanna, this Going Green Mom is an instant fan!! I don’t really sew, but I think I am going to give this Crayon Roll a try. It is DARLING. . .and what a great homemade gift! (I purchased one of these for my cousin’s daughter last year and I don’t even want to tell you how much I paid for it — Yikes!) Thanks for sharing your earth-friendly ideas with the world wide web!

Hey thanks so much for checking out my blog. And what is fun is that I find so many yards of material, never used at the Goodwill bins. You can make these crayon rolls with very little money put out and they really do make great gifts.
