I confess, I haven’t been blogging like I planned to this week. But I HAVE been running. And, I’ve lost 5 pounds. I am trying to stick to the 5K/10K running schedule. I’m finding that if I don’t get up early, it’s not getting done. Travel for work is preventing me from exercising at night right now. So, I did a week 1 “do-over.” (What? I’m in charge here.) I put the marathon schedule up on the fridge and I am checking it off after I do the workout. I’ll start Week 2 today. Remember, I’m going to complete a marathon. I don’t need to win it. However, by the time I get there, I may be the only one in my age bracket able to run. HA. How are YOU doing?
Have you found your “red-light” food? I found mine. Chips and queso. Well, not so much the chips. Those are just the vehicle by which I get the queso into my mouth. I hosted a dinner party for work over at Ted’s Escondido. At the party, I did VERY well making my food selections. In fact, I counted the points up BEFORE I went. My mistake was bringing Ted’s food home to share with my family. The next day, I opened the refrigerator to fix my lunch and somehow that bowl of creamy, scrumptious cheese got up and headed straight for the microwave. I thought to myself, what would Mini-Mom do? Ah, who cares. And, then I fell off the wagon. My one indulgence cost me all of my Weight Watchers Flex Points (at least).
After the incident, the guilt settled in. I’ll just tell you. Guilt tastes terrible. Even covered in queso.
At least it’s a new week.

I love queso I think it is worth all of the flex points.
