Three months ago I got serious about exercise! I made fitting it in a priority and have seen a ton of success. Exercise is starting to be a daily habit – I actually look forward to my time. I am able to go longer and harder…it is awesome!
And that is where is STOPS!!
My clothes are not getting any bigger, my scale is showing the same number (well, down maybe a few little lbs)…just really no major change. Okay, okay, so there are a few SMALL changes…like I can zip my brown hooker boots all the way up now with no pinching at the top! For the most part I am 3 months in and just not seeing the changes I should have seen to this point.
It is time to step back and look at what I am doing. The bottom line, the exercise is great, the diet SUCKS! So, as much as a loathe saying this, I think I am going to join Weight Watchers! GULP!! I have tried WW before and it really does not work for me. It is not the program, it is me. I just freak out at the idea of being restricted…of not being able to do what I want.
HELP!! First, I just need to take a deep breathe and look at it as one day and one week at a time. Like I originally did with exercise. I looked at 30 days – exercise for 30 days. I can do ANYTHING for 30 days. I guess this is similar, only I think I am going to have to look at it 1 day or 1 week at a time. I can do anything for one week – RIGHT? AHHHHH!!! Have you done WW? How did you do it? Please, give me your tips.

For WW you need to commit to 6 weeks. That’s one meeting a week for 6 weeks. You can do that. The best thing to do is go to the first meeting and get started. There are lots of delicious WW recipes that are out there that your family will enjoy, too. I can have 22 points per day. So, I use 10 for breakfast and lunch and keep the rest of the points for dinner. It’s a FAMILY LIFESTYLE change. You can do it!
