How do I register?

To register with 918moms.com, go to SIGN UP located at the top of the 918moms.com web page and complete the log in and contact information.  Items with an * (asterisk) denote fields that must be completed.  Select REGISTER when you have completed the information, and you will be registered with 918moms.com.

How do I log in?

To log in to 918moms.com, go to LOG IN at the top of the web page, insert your USERNAME and PASSWORD, select LOG IN.  You must be registered first in order to log in to 918moms.com.

I'm trying to register, but it says my email address is already in use.

If your email address is already in use, this may indicate you are already registered.  Go to LOG IN at the top of the 918moms.com web page and CLICK HERE to request having your password emailed to you.  For more assistance or if you have forgotten your username, please email your request to the web site administrator at info@918moms.com.

What do I do if I forget my password?

Go to LOG IN at 918moms.com and select “I forgot my password”.  Insert either your username or email address associated with your 918moms.com account, select SUBMIT and we will email your password.

When I login, I am told my password and username don't match.

If your password and username do not match, go to LOG IN at the top of the web page and CLICK HERE to request having your password emailed to you.  For more assistance or if you have forgotten your username, please email your request to the web site administrator at info@918moms.com.

How do I change my password or other information in my profile?

To edit your profile, first LOG IN to the 918moms.com web site.  Once logged in, you can access and edit your profile information using the EDIT PROFILE link located below your current information.

To view your profile information while logged in but are elsewhere on the 918moms.com web site, go to the top of the web page and select VIEW PROFILE.

Can others see the personal information in my profile?

No. Other 918moms.com visitors will not be able to see your personal information within your log in profile.  Users will only be able to see your user name.

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account, please email your request to the web site administrator at info@918moms.com.

What is a blog?

A blog is a web log with regular entries of commentary that is started by 918moms.com bloggers. Go to BLOGS at the top of the 918moms.com web page to view current entries.

Can I comment on blogs without registering or logging in?

Yes. You can view the blogs and post comments to current discussions without registering or logging in to the 918moms.com web site. To comment, you must supply a name and email address. Site administrators must approve all blog comments before comments are posted to the web site. Go to BLOGS at the top of the 918moms.com web page to view current entries and select the entry to read more about the topic.  To leave a reply, go to the bottom of the selected blog, complete the information and select SUBMIT COMMENT.

How do I start a new mom to mom discussion forum?

Please note, you must register and log in to 918moms.com in order to add new discussion forums or add to current discussions within the forums.

To start a mom to mom forum, go to FORUMS at the top of the web page and select one of the major FORUM topics, such as Stay at Home Moms, Activities, Working Moms, Education, etc., located on the left-hand column of the FORUMS web page.

As an example, select ACTIVITIES and you will see the current discussion topics.  Select NEW TOPIC to begin a new forum for Activities.  Provide your log in information, select RETURN TO PREVIOUS PAGE, type in your discussion text and select SUBMIT.

How do I communicate in an existing mom to mom discussion forum?

Please note, you must register and log in to 918moms.com in order to add new discussion forums or add to current discussions within the forums.

To communicate with an existing mom to mom discussion forum, go to FORUMS at the top of the web page navigation and select one of the major FORUM topics, such as Stay at Home Moms, Activities, Working Moms, Education, etc., located on the left-hand column of the FORUMS web page.

As an example, select ACTIVITIES and you will see the current discussion topics.  Select one of the existing topic titles, provide your log in information as needed, select POST REPLY, type in your discussion text and select SUBMIT.

Where can I check and find out if a forum topic has been mentioned before?

To view forum topics, go to FORUMS at the top of the web page navigation and select VIEW ACTIVE TOPICS.  Or, select ADVANCED SEARCH located at the top of 918moms.com and use key words to narrow your search for similar forum topics.

How do I alert the moderator of inappropriate or offensive comments, illegal or pirated software or the thread is off topic?

Go to the discussion forum post containing inappropriate comments and select the “!” (exclamation point) icon.  Complete the form, select SUBMIT and 918moms.com will resolve.

How do I find old posts?

To locate your old posts, the best way is through the search tool located at the top of the web page under the 918moms.com logo. Enter a key word from the discussion, and you will get a list of discussions containing that word. If you know which forum it was posted in, you also can check the forum directory. Another way is to go to ADVANCED SEARCH and search for the author by using your username.

I want to change something in one of my posts. Can I do this?

Yes. First, make sure you have logged in to 918moms.com.  Navigate to the post and select EDIT, which is located in the text discussion area.  After you complete your changes, select SUBMIT.

Can I delete old posts?

Yes. If it is a forum discussion that you started, you can delete it at any time. Go to the specific discussion forum and select EDIT, scroll to the bottom of the page and select DELETE.  Then, confirm that you want to delete the post.

How do I submit an event for the Calendar of Events?

To submit an event for 918moms.com Calendar of Events, go to CALENDAR at the top of the web page navigation, select SUBMIT YOUR EVENT and complete the required information. Site administrators must approve all events before they are posted to the web site.

How do I upload a picture to the Photo Gallery?

To upload a photo onto the 918moms.com Photo Gallery, go to PHOTOS at the top of the web page navigation, select SUBMIT YOUR PHOTO, login or register as needed, and complete the required photo information and select SUBMIT PHOTO.

What is a private message?

A private message, often shortened to PM, is like an e-mail sent from one discussion forum user to another user on the same forum.

How do I private message?

While at FORUMS, send a private message to a 918moms.com registered user by selecting their username link in the LAST POST column (you will be required to login or register).  At CONTACT, select the “send private message” link, compose your message and select SUBMIT.

How do I check my private messages?

To check your private messages, login, go to FORUMS, navigate to the bottom of the web page, select your "registered user" name, on the next web page select "send private message."  From here you will be able to check your private message inbox and outbox, compose new messages and manage your private message drafts.

How do I report a technical problem?

Once you are a registered user and logged in, simply add the video you would like to purchase to your cart and proceed through checkout.

How long can I watch the video?

You will have access to the video for 7 days from the time of purchase.

Will the video be available to watch immediately? 

Yes. As soon as you complete the checkout, your video will be available to view in the My Videos (?) section, at the top of the 918moms.com website.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We utilize PayPal. You can either pay through your PayPal account or use any major credit/debit card during checkout.

I purchased my videos, but when I came back to the site to view them, it said my subscriptions had expired or I did not have any subscriptions!  Help!

With PayPal, you MUST click on the yellow button that says "Return to 918 Moms" in order to complete your transaction.  Once you click through, you will be able to log back into the site and view the videos you just purchased.  If you did not click the yellow button, your transaction is not fully complete.  Email us at orders@918moms.com to let us know, and we will manually complete your transaction.
